Ravens announce 17-member undrafted rookie class

The Ravens announced an undrafted rookie class of 17 members Friday, including six wide receivers and five linebackers.

After trading top wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown in the first round, Baltimore didn’t draft a wide receiver with any of its 11 draft picks. The Ravens also released wide receiver Miles Boykin ahead of the draft. Although the Ravens still have quality depth in this position, there could be a vacancy on the 53-man roster.

Baltimore also hasn’t drafted an inside linebacker and is currently only five deep there with Patrick Queen, Josh Bynes, Malik Harrison, Kristian Welch and Otaro Alaka.

Here’s the entire 17-man class, which doesn’t include any rookie camp tryouts:

WR Slade Bolden, Alabama (5-11, 189)

He saw action in 42 games (14 starts) during his three-year career at Alabama, making an impact on special teams and playing an important role as a slots catcher. Finished with 68 receptions for 712 yards and was on Alabama’s 2020 National Championship team.

WR Shemar Bridges, Fort Valley State (6-4, 207)

In 16 career games at Fort Valley State, Bridges had 98 receptions for 1,358 yards and 7 touchdowns, including five consecutive 100-yard games.

QB Anthony Brown, Oregon (6-1, 217)

Brown has started 42 games in his college career, playing three years at Boston College and the last two seasons at Oregon. He started all 14 games for the Ducks in 2021, throwing for 2,989 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 658 rushing yards.

WR Trevon Clark, Calif. (6-3, 193)

In 2021, Clark played in 12 games and recorded career highs in receptions (33), receiving yards (658) and touchdown catches (4). He finished seventh in the nation with an average of 19.9 yards per catch.

OT Aron Johnson, South Dakota State (6-5,305)

In 2021, Johnson started all 14 games at left tackle. He was a key part of an offensive unit that set a Division I best with 231.7 rushing yards per game while limiting the opposition to 10 sacks this season.

ILB Zakoby McClain, Auburn (5-11, 227)

McClain played in 12 games (11 starts) as a linebacker in 2021 and earned second-team All-SEC honors after finishing with 96 tackles (56 solo), 8 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and 6 assists defended . During the pre-draft process, he was Reese’s Bowl Senior Defensive Player of the Week.

OLB Jeremiah Moon, Florida (6-5, 247)

Moon played 10 games in 2021 and had 49 tackles, 2 sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and 1 pass defense.

S Chris Moore, Georgia State (6-1, 216)

Moore played his final two seasons at Georgia State after spending three seasons at Virginia. In 2021, he appeared in 12 games and had 70 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble.

DT Rayshad Nichols, Stephen F. Austin (6-2, 305)

In 14 games last season, Nichols had 51 tackles and 10 sacks.

RB Ricky Person, North Carolina State (6-0, 217)

Person played in 12 games last season and rushed for 636 yards and 5 touchdowns, while catching 28 passes for 240 yards and 2 touchdowns.

WR Makai Polk, Mississippi State (6-3, 197)

Polk had a career-high 105 catches for 1,046 yards and 9 touchdowns last season, finishing second in the FBS in receptions. His total catches and receiving yards were both school records.

ILB Josh Ross, Michigan (6-0, 225)

Ross was a two-time team captain for the Wolverines and recorded double-digit tackles in seven games. Last season, he earned All-Big Ten third-team honors after starting 14 games and leading the team to a record 106 tackles, including 9 tackles for loss.

DC David Vereen, Newberry (5-9, 188)

In 13 games in 2021, Vereen posted a career-high 43 tackles and 3 tackles for loss with 12 passes defended.

WR Raleigh Webb, The Citadel (6-2, 204)

Webb appeared in 11 games and led the team in every major receiving category in 2021, posting 25 catches for 536 yards (21.4 avg) and 3 touchdowns. He also contributed to special teams.

OLB Chuck Wiley, Texas-San Antonio

From 14 games at outside linebacker last season, Wiley had 36 tackles, nine tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries.

CB Denzel Williams, Villanova (5-10, 180)

Williams played in 11 games last season and had 16 tackles, 2 interceptions, 2 passes defended and 1 fumble recovery.

WR Devon Williams, Oregon (6-5, 211)

Williams hit career highs across the board in 2021 with 35 receptions, 557 yards and 4 touchdowns in 12 games.
